It is the humble public bench which is the quiet star of my Benches series of etchings. During the pandemic we came to realise its importance when it was suddenly made illegal to sit on one. The public dismay that resulted from this led to my realisation of how it is a truly egalitarian piece of street furniture that we take for granted at our peril.
The prints are designed so they can be displayed as a mix and match series of three to make up a complete bench
